Receive Life and Feel Secure - John 10:27-30

John 10:27-30 (NIV)
27My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30I and the Father are one.

Prayer: Lord, because we know and trust You, we recognize Your voice and follow You. It's comforting to be assured that we neither earn our salvation by human achievement nor can we ever lose it, because it is dependent on Your power and not ours. May ________ repent (turning from that initial sinful nature and surrendering to You by faith) to receive the gift of eternal life if he/she has not already and then feel secure based on your power.
